Skills and presence, with depth
VR180 3D · 8K
Bring your audience closer to what matters.
VR Perception produces VR180 3D films for demonstrations, exhibitions and presentations. A compatible headset shows the scene in stereoscopic depth.
At a glance
- For close-up demonstrations and detailed tasks.
- Canon EOS R5 and RF 5.2 mm Dual Fisheye, up to 8K.
- Editing and export for the agreed playback device.
- On-location filming across Switzerland from Greifensee, Zurich.

Bring depth to a gesture or a personal encounter.
VR180 in 3D records two views, one for each eye, across the hemisphere in front of the camera. In a compatible headset, the difference creates a sense of depth: a hand, tool or person appears at a perceptible distance.
The format suits a craft demonstration, a precise gesture or a face-to-face encounter. The subject stays in front of the viewer, who can explore without searching behind for the action. Camera distance matters: poorly planned proximity can make observation uncomfortable.
We prepare subject placement, lighting and pacing with our Canon EOS R5 and RF 5.2mm Dual Fisheye setup. Capture can reach 8K; perceived quality also depends on the headset, player and export. A screen version can present the content, but it cannot reproduce the depth experienced in the headset.
What it brings you
Experience depth
The two views, one for each eye, reproduce depth and distances in a compatible headset.
Focus attention
The action stays in front of the viewer, who can observe details without looking behind.
Create a sense of connection
Being close to a person or an action adds another dimension to your presentation.

In practice
Example application: up close with the chef
A possible sequence would place the viewer opposite the chef, watching hands, utensils and preparation in depth from a carefully chosen position. This could enrich an accompanied trade fair presentation or discovery session. The image comes from our Anantara 360° film: it illustrates a possible subject, not an already completed VR180 production.
What can it be used for?
Expertise & craftsmanship
Observe how a material is worked and the precision of a skill.
Hospitality & gastronomy
Experience a welcome or a culinary demonstration through a headset.
Trade shows & presentations
Offer a short guided sequence, then continue the conversation with your audience.
How we create it
Define the viewpoint
We choose the subject, distance and what the audience should observe.
Prepare the shoot
Lighting, sound and camera position support the action and viewing comfort.
Check in a headset
Editing, depth and playback are checked on the selected viewing equipment.
What you receive
- Stereoscopic VR180 film, captured in 8K
- Edit to the agreed duration
- Export for the selected headset
- Poster and screen extract if included
Perceived resolution also depends on the headset and player. Formats and viewing conditions are agreed before filming.
Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from a 360° film?
Monoscopic 360° shows all around, without stereoscopic depth. VR180 3D shows the hemisphere in front of you, with a separate view for each eye.
Can it be watched without a headset?
An on-screen extract presents the content but does not reproduce the depth of the headset experience. We can prepare this presentation version.
What determines the cost?
The quote reflects scenes, framing tests, sound recording and the versions required. See the factors that affect pricing.
How long will the project take?
The timetable depends on scope, site and team availability, and review stages. We agree on dates when preparing the quote.
Where do you work?
From Greifensee in the canton of Zurich, we work in German-speaking Switzerland, Romandy and Ticino. We also consider international projects on request.
Can you produce versions in several languages?
We agree on languages and what needs adapting in the quote. Text, subtitles and other versions depend on the chosen format.
How should we prepare a VR180 demonstration?
Describe the task to show and the viewpoint you want. We plan a test shot to check distance, depth and viewing comfort on the agreed device.
